Bayero University Kano Announces 53rd Professorial Inaugural Lecture

Bayero University Kano (BUK) invites the general public to the 53rd Professorial Inaugural Lecture, scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm. The event will be held at the Convocation Arena, BUK New Campus, with a virtual option available via Zoom.

The lecture, titled "Pathways to Progress: Paediatrics Care, Child Health and Medical Education in Nigeria," will be presented by Professor Mu'utassim Ibrahim, a renowned expert in Paediatrics from the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Clinical Sciences.

The Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, FMAN, will chair the event. The lecture is a significant milestone in the academic calendar of the university, and the public is cordially invited to attend.
