Bayero University Kano Announces Temporary Closure of Old Campus Main Gate for Remodeling

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the temporary closure of the main gate at its Old Campus due to ongoing remodeling efforts aimed at enhancing infrastructure and the overall aesthetic appeal of the institution. The closure will take effect from March 13, 2025.

In a notice issued by the university's Public Affairs Directorate, members of the university community, including staff, students, and visitors, were informed of an alternative entrance near the Power House, which has been designated for use during the remodeling period.

The university management urged all affected individuals to plan their movements accordingly, acknowledging any inconveniences that the closure might cause. It assured the community that efforts are in place to complete the remodeling work as soon as possible. Further updates will be provided once the main gate is ready for reopening.
