Bayero University Kano Reverses Disqualification of Top Candidates On Election Day

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has taken swift action by reversing the disqualification status of candidates, following an announcement made this morning at around 7:00 am regarding the list of qualified and unqualified candidates for the upcoming election scheduled from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm today.

The Deanery of the Students' Affairs Division played a pivotal role by urging the Bayero University Kano Independent Electoral Commission (BUKIECO) to reconsider the disqualification status imposed on candidates, emphasizing the university's commitment to a fair and inclusive electoral process.

To facilitate a smooth election, all executive aspirants have been advised to promptly update their profiles and verify their qualification status by checking their dashboard. The message assures the university community of BUKIECO's dedication to ensuring a free, fair, and credible election.
