FUOYE VC Proposes Ekiti Varsities’ Science Fair, Wins Governor’s Backing

The Vice-Chancellor of the FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE-EKITI, FUOYE, Prof. Joshua O. Ogunwole, has proposed the establishment of an Ekiti Universities’ Science Fair, an initiative aimed at promoting scientific innovation, research, creativity and collaboration among universities in the State.

The proposal has received the backing of the Executive Governor of EKITI STATE, signalling strong support for initiatives that advance science, technology and innovation across the State.

According to the University, the Science Fair is envisioned as a platform to showcase research outputs, inventions and technological solutions from students and lecturers across EKITI STATE-owned and federal universities.

The initiative reflects the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment to positioning FUOYE as a leading force in innovation, research and community development, while fostering stronger collaboration among institutions in EKITI STATE.
