The President of the Students' Union Government at Bayero University Kano has provided an important update regarding the NELFUND initiative and student refunds. 

In a recent communication, the President expressed gratitude for the support of the Dean of Student Affairs and outlined that NELFUND has pledged to disburse nearly ₦5,000 to verified students prior to the commencement of exams.

Additionally, the message highlighted the urgent need for refunds for students who paid their registration fees before the NELFUND disbursement. Many of these students faced financial difficulties, having borrowed money from friends and relatives to cover their registration costs.

The Students' Union Government has requested assistance in expediting the refund process to alleviate the financial burden on these students, allowing them to concentrate on their studies and perform well in their examinations.

The President thanked the university administration for their continued support and understanding in addressing these financial concerns.
