Mr. Chibuzo Okereke, the top-performing Master's graduate in the Department of Public Administration at Baze University, Abuja, has called on Nigerian youths to contribute their best efforts towards the development of the nation. Okereke achieved an impressive cumulative grade of 4.95 out of 5.0, emerging as the best among 26 Master's students in the department.

In an interview following the Baze University 10th Convocation ceremony in Abuja, Okereke emphasized the importance of resilience and dedication, particularly in challenging times. He urged Nigerian youth not to relent but to strive for excellence in all their endeavors, noting that collective efforts are essential for Nigeria's advancement.

Okereke's research interest focused on the 'Socio-economic and Political Development Impact of Constituency Development Projects in Enugu East Senatorial District.' Motivated by the urgent need to enhance governance and representation in rural areas, his research outcomes inform critical policy advocacy aimed at reshaping the design, implementation, and governance framework of constituency/zonal intervention project management in Nigeria.

A legislative advocate and founder of Project Hope Alive, Okereke previously obtained a Master's degree in Legislative Studies from the University of Benin (UniBen) in 2018, where he emerged as the overall best-graduating student. His commitment to academic excellence was further recognized with the eighth President of the Senate Academic Excellence Endowment Award in 2018.

The Baze University community celebrated Okereke's achievements at a ceremony organized in his honor, acknowledging his contributions to academic research and policy advocacy. Okereke, who is also a co-convener of the National Legislative Conference, serves as an inspiring figure for Nigerian youths aspiring to make meaningful contributions to the nation's development.
