The Biotechnology Department Alumni Association of FUTO recently visited Vice Chancellor Prof. Nnenna Oti. During the visit, the Association's Adviser, Prof. T.E. Ogbulie, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Vice Chancellor's goals.

The Biotechnology Department Alumni Association of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) recently paid a courtesy visit to the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nnenna Oti. 

During the visit, Prof. (Mrs.) T.E. Ogbulie, the Association’s Adviser, highlighted the group's commitment to supporting the Vice Chancellor's vision of fostering a culture of excellence. She emphasized their intention to contribute to the department and the university even before the Association’s official inauguration.

Mr. Agu Reuben Chinedu, President of the Alumni Association, expressed gratitude to Prof. Oti for the warm reception. He provided an overview of the Association's activities and achievements since its formation two months ago and outlined future projects and engagements.

Prof. Nnenna Oti, the eighth substantive Vice Chancellor of FUTO, welcomed the Association's support and encouraged continued involvement from alumni to help the university thrive.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a wrapper featuring the FUTO logo and the Association’s emblem to the Vice Chancellor.

Also present were Prof. (Mrs.) A. C. Udebuani (Patroness), Dr. (Mrs.) A. A. Nwachukwu (Vice President/General Secretary), Mrs. Mercy Olatunji (Finance Officer/Treasurer), and Mr. Emmanuel Nwakwasi (Programs/Events Officer).
