Taraba State University Students Allege Mismanagement and Exploitation

Students of the Medical Laboratory Science Department at Taraba State University have petitioned the university's Faculty of Health Sciences, alleging mismanagement, financial exploitation, and academic setbacks.

The students claim that despite the department securing interim accreditation, no students have graduated in eight months. They also allege that the department collected excessive fees without issuing receipts and denied indexing to some students.

The students are demanding a thorough investigation, fair and transparent indexing, and disciplinary action against those responsible. The university management has yet to respond to the allegations.
