Benue State University, Makurdi BSU VC Prof Joe Iorapuu pays a condolence visit to the family of Justice A.P Utsaha, late Michael Tarnongo Utsaha,Esq, who passed on the 14th of March 2023.

The Vice-Chancellor, Benue State University, Makurdi, Professor Tor Joe Iorapuu, fsonta, mnipr, ksm  today 21/03/2023, led Management of the University on a condolence visit to the family of Justice A.P Utsaha (rtd) over the demise of their son, late Michael Tarnongo Utsaha,Esq, who passed on the 14th of March 2023.

Professor Iorapuu described the demise of the deceased as a shock, stressing that the likes of late Mike Utsaha who are willing and ready to offer selfless service to humanity are but very few. He disclosed that, he had worked with his late son doing training and mentoring of young people across Nigeria between 2004 and 2008.

The condolence visit was further necessitated by the fact that Justice Utsaha himself  father of the deceased is an elder Stateman, a friend of the university and  the first President, Customary Court of Appeal, Makurdi . Adding that as a father, his lifestyle and humility is a source of encouragement to many upcoming generations in Benue State and Nigeria.

In his response, Justice Utsaha expressed deep appreciation for the visit, encouraging all present to be strong, and pray for the repose of the soul of his son, late Michael Utsaha, Esq. 

He also informed the management team that arrangements were being put in place and the burial programme would be released soon.
