BUK Registration Fee Remains Unchanged, Says VC
The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced that the students' central registration fees will remain unchanged for the 2023/2024 academic session, despite the prevailing economic situation in the country.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, made this known during a meeting with the Students Union Government executives on Thursday, May 23, 2024. He stated that the university is conscious of the economic challenges faced by parents and students and has therefore decided not to increase the registration fees.

According to Professor Abbas, the university will continue to provide quality education and improve the welfare of staff and students, but emphasized that funding education is a collective responsibility that requires the support of all stakeholders.
The Vice Chancellor also urged students to maintain peace and tranquility on campus, stating that without it, nothing can be achieved.

The President of the Students Union Government, Comrade Naseer Ibrahim Isah (Aluta Professor), thanked the Vice Chancellor for the meeting and assured that the students' body will support the university in achieving its goals.
In addition, the university's Senate has approved the academic calendar and registration guidelines for the 2023/2024 session.
