Chairman of Aguata LGA Prioritizes Education; Calls for Donations to Public Library

The reconstruction of the severely dilapidated public library located at Nkpologwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State, commenced a few months ago and is set to be commissioned. He added that the building will be commissioned and opened for use on Friday, May 17, and appealed for the donation of books to the library.

Chairman of Aguata LGA Prioritizes Education; Calls for Donations to Public Library

Chibueze Ofobuike, Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area in Anambra, has called for donations to the newly rehabilitated public library.

The reconstruction of the severely dilapidated public library located at Nkpologwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State, commenced a few months ago and is set to be commissioned. The Chairman took to his social media page @chibueze08 on X to express that this initiative was undertaken to contribute to infrastructure and education in Anambra state.

In his words, "A few months ago, we began the reconstruction of a severely dilapidated public library located at Nkpologwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State. This is in line with our efforts to provide the necessary learning infrastructure in the local government area.”

He added that the building will be commissioned and opened for use on Friday, May 17, and appealed for the donation of books to the library. “To this end, we are humbly appealing for donations of new and/or used books,” he tweeted.

“Any books you’ve read or used and do not currently serve any purpose to you, kindly donate to our library for the usage of our young people,” he added. In response to this, individuals have been commending his efforts to improve the quality of education in Anambra state.
