Jiang Ping, who hails from Jiangsu Province, achieved this remarkable feat in the Alibaba Global Math Competition, where she finished 12th out of thousands of participants, securing her place among 801 global finalists for the final test.

The qualifying round, which took place last Saturday, lasted for 48 hours and included multiple-choice and essay-length questions on applied mathematics, probability, and algebra. Notably, no AI teams made it to the finals.
