Chrisland University DVC, Prof. Farombi, Ranked Nigeria’s No. 1 Toxicologist

Professor Ebenezer Olatunde Farombi, has achieved global recognition after being ranked among the world’s Top two per cent of scientists and the No. 1 Toxicologist in Nigeria.

Professor Farombi, a Professor of Biochemistry and Toxicology, a distinguished scholar and Deputy Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University Abeokuta was ranked the No. 1 Toxicologist in Nigeria and placed within the Top one per cent of Scientists globally in the latest World Ranking of Scientists.

The ranking also listed several other distinguished scholars from the University of Ibadan who made the global Top two per cent. Among them is renowned Psychiatrist Oye Gureje, who was ranked first in the field of Psychiatry worldwide.

Professor Farombi’s recognition underscores his extensive contributions to research in Biochemistry and Toxicology, particularly in the study of environmental toxins, human health, and disease prevention. Over the years, his scholarly work has earned international citations and recognition, placing him among the most influential researchers in his field.

The inclusion of Professor Farombi in the global ranking over the years has been widely celebrated as a testament to academic excellence and research leadership.
