CIBN to Host Banking Conference at Bayero University Kano

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has announced plans to host a banking conference at Bayero University Kano (BUK).

The Institute's Registrar and Chief Executive, Mr. Hakim Morakinyo, made this known during a courtesy visit to the University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the Institute and the University, supporting BUK students in their pursuit of becoming chartered bankers. Mr. Morakinyo commended the University's leadership and initiatives, particularly the Special Needs Section in the library, which he described as a remarkable example of inclusivity.

The Institute's engagement with BUK students and staff has shown that they are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the banking profession. The planned conference is expected to further enhance the partnership between CIBN and BUK.
