In a proud moment for the College of Nursing Sciences, Damaturu, the Yobe State Board of Internal Revenue has presented a commendation letter to the Provost of the College

. The letter, presented by Mal. Yahaya Hassan, Director Planning Research and Statistics (DPRS) of the Board, recognizes the College as the overall best institution/agency in Internal Revenue Generation (I.R.G) in the state.

The commendation stems from the College's impressive performance in meeting revenue targets for the year 2023. Despite being given a target of N134,300,000, the College exceeded expectations by generating N107,200,102.13, achieving an impressive 80% from January to December 2023.

Upon receiving the commendation, the Provost expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the Governing Council, management, and staff of the College. She stated, "It is truly humbling to be recognized for the hard work and dedication." The Provost emphasized the College's understanding of its crucial role in contributing to the economic well-being of the community and pledged to continue working diligently to uphold the trust and confidence placed in them.

The Provost acknowledged the unwavering support and commitment of the College's management and staff, without whom this accomplishment would not have been possible. Furthermore, she extended gratitude to the state government for providing an enabling environment to meet and surpass revenue targets.

This commendation serves as both recognition of past achievements and motivation for the College to strive for even higher standards of professionalism and integrity in the future.
