Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), joined the esteemed gathering of Senior Officers from the Nigerian Army Education Corps who participated in a solemn pulling out ceremony honoring sixteen retired Army Generals.

The ceremony, held at the prestigious Nigerian Army Institute of Science Education and Technology, located within the confines of Sobi Cantonment in Ilorin, Kwara State, witnessed the dignified retirement of five retired Major Generals and eleven Brigadier Generals.

The retired Major Generals honored during the ceremony were Major General MM Bunza, Major General SZ Kazaure, Major General ML Augie, Major General BH Mohammed, and Major General LM Zakaria. Additionally, the ceremony bid farewell to eleven Brigadier Generals, including Brigadier General JA Fayehun, Brigadier General NF Umaru, Brigadier General BS Ipinyomi, Brigadier General JO Obasa, Brigadier General CA Bossman, Brigadier General OL Olokor, Brigadier General MM Kini, Brigadier General AA Goni, Brigadier General A Abdu, Brigadier General MA Uba, and Brigadier General M Kadai.

The pulling out ceremony, characterized by military precision and tradition, was marked by a display of camaraderie and respect as the retiring officers were formally recognized for their years of dedicated service to the nation.
