Dorben Polytechic Students Attend EU Erasmus+ Pre-Departure Lecture in Abuja
Dorben Polytechnic students participate in a pre-departure orientation organized by the European Union for 142 Nigerian scholars receiving Erasmus+ Post-Graduate Scholarships.
Students from Dorben Polytechnic actively participated in a pre-departure lecture organized by the European Union (EU) through its Erasmus+ program. The event, held in Abuja, focused on preparing 142 young Nigerian scholars for their upcoming Post-Graduate Scholarships under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) for the academic session 2024-25.
The pre-departure orientation aimed to equip the scholarship recipients with practical insights to maximize the opportunities offered by this prestigious educational initiative. Speaking at the orientation, the EU Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Miss Samuela Isopi, underscored the profound impact of the EMJMD program, now celebrating its 20th year. She emphasized its transformative influence on individuals, higher education institutions, and participating countries both within and beyond the EU.
