Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto Releases 2024/2025 Academic Calendar

The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto has approved the proposed 2024/2025 undergraduate academic calendar. The calendar outlines the schedule of activities for the upcoming academic session.

The new academic session is set to begin with the registration of new students from December 16, 2024, to January 11, 2025. Returning students will register from December 30, 2024, to January 11, 2025. Lectures will commence on January 13, 2025.

The calendar also includes a mid-semester break from March 3 to March 8, 2025, and semester examinations from April 21 to May 17, 2025.

The second semester will begin on June 9, 2025, with a mid-semester break from July 28 to August 2, 2025. Lectures will continue until September 13, 2025, followed by semester examinations from September 15 to October 11, 2025.

The university has also highlighted important dates, including public holidays and the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic session. Students and staff are advised to take note of these dates to plan accordingly.
