In a significant move, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science at Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has withdrawn 41 students from the 2021 set due to their inability to meet the academic benchmark set by the institution. This action follows their failure to achieve the required Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) necessary to progress to the 200 level.

The decision to withdraw these students stems from the department's commitment to maintaining academic excellence and upholding stringent standards. Out of the total 137 students in the 2021 set, 41 have fallen short of the minimum CGPA required to advance to the next academic level.
