This year's AGM/Reunion holds particular significance as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of Ekiti Parapo College (EKPACO). Established on Friday, January 29, 1954, the college commemorates the 16-year Ekiti War of Independence, fought from 1877 to 1893. This war played a pivotal role in securing Ekitiland's historic liberation from the influence of Ibadan, their internal colonial masters.
