Kwara Governor Praises NYSC for Advancing National Cohesion
The governor, represented by Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, the Supervising Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth Development, made these remarks during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch C Stream 1 NYSC members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Yikpata, Edu Local Government Area.
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has commended the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for its role in promoting national unity and cohesion. He noted that the NYSC is a unique government initiative that has developed substantial capacity over the years to address contemporary challenges in unifying the Nigerian population.

Governor Abdulrazaq encouraged NYSC members to stay focused and maintain their efforts in utilizing the program as a practical and sustainable means to further national cohesion.
He also stressed his administration's commitment to ensuring the welfare and safety of corps members in the state.

Furthermore, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, the State Coordinator of the NYSC, expressed his appreciation to the governor for providing 500 mattresses and ongoing efforts to fence the Orientation Camp.The 2023 Batch C Stream 1 orientation course began on November 1 and is scheduled to conclude on November 21, 2023.
