ESUT VC Appoints Professors Emeka Nze, Ejike Okonkwo Directors of Grants and Scholarships, Int'l Collaboration and Endowments

The Vice Chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, has appointed the former Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources Management, Professor Emeka Nzeh, as the Director of Grants and Scholarships for 2026/2027 academic session.

In his appointment letter dated August 24, 2026, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Okolie, enjoined him to activate the process of securing grants and scholarships from relevant institutions and agencies for both staff and students of the University.

He will equally establish necessary structures and frameworks for securing local and foreign scholarships for staff and students of the University among other terms of references.

In a similar vein, Professor Ejike Okonkwo, of the Department of Psychology has equally been appointed as the Director of International Collaboration and Endowments.

He is to explore areas of collaborations with national and global institutions and agencies in order to promote productive exchange programmes and advance research and scholarship in ESUT.

He will equally develop appropriate networks, as well as, instigate process for attracting and harvesting endowments that will enhance teaching and learning among other terms of references.

In a similar development, Prof. Osita Ogbu, has been appointed Dean, Faculty of Law following his victory at the deanship election in the faculty.

His appointment is for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 academic sessions.

The above appointments take effect from September 1st, 2026.
