FAMSAS College Approves New Centre For Professional Development and Digital Skills

FAMSAS College of Health Science and Technology, Keffi, has formally approved the establishment of the FAMSAS Centre for Professional Development and Digital Skills Training, FCPDDST.

The approval was given at the institution’s 101st Regular Academic Board Meeting.

The Centre will serve as a dedicated platform for short courses, ICT and digital skills, professional development, continuing education, entrepreneurship training, community-focused programmes, and other approved capacity-building initiatives.

According to the College, the new centre is designed to serve students, staff and the wider public by providing practical training that aligns with current industry and healthcare demands.

Management said FCPDDST will help bridge skills gaps, promote lifelong learning, and support entrepreneurship while strengthening the College’s role in community development.

The initiative is expected to expand access to digital literacy and professional certifications, and to position FAMSAS College as a hub for continuous learning in the region.
