After eight days of intense competition and celebration of sportsmanship, the 11th edition of the Federation of African University Sports (FASU) Games, dubbed FASU Lagos 2024, will come to a conclusion on Sunday, September 29, 2024. The grand closing ceremony will take place at the Lagos State University (LASU) Sports Complex, where dignitaries, athletes, officials, and spectators will gather to mark the end of the continent’s premier university sports event.

The games, which began with an opening ceremony full of pomp and pageantry at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) on Saturday, September 21, 2024, have brought together universities from across Africa, featuring competitions in various sports disciplines such as football, athletics, basketball, volleyball, and more. Athletes showcased their talents and represented their institutions with pride, culminating in moments of victory, perseverance, and camaraderie.
