FCE Kontagora SUG Issues Important Notice on Hostel Accommodations and Student Loans

The Students Union Government (SUG) of the Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Niger State, has issued an important announcement to all students regarding hostel accommodations and the availability of student loans.

The announcement was made following a meeting with the college management, and was conveyed through the SUG President, Comrade Victor Lawrence Gabriel, also known as Aluta Jagaban, and the General Secretary, Comrade Thaddeous Festus Yayas, known as Aluta Capacity.

During the meeting, the SUG discussed the availability of on-campus hostel accommodations for students at an affordable rate of ₦9,000. The management emphasized that residing in the college hostel offers enhanced safety and security compared to living off-campus. The hostel facilities include steady water supply, electricity, and security measures. The college administration also assured that additional improvements would be made if a significant number of students choose to stay on campus.

The college management further clarified that it would not entertain any complaints regarding theft or other issues from students residing off-campus, urging students to consider the benefits of staying in the hostels.

The SUG also reminded students about the ongoing opportunity to apply for the student loan program. Students were advised to ensure that all information provided in the application is accurate, as any incorrect details could result in the application being deemed invalid.
