Federal Polytechnic Bauchi SUG Mourns Mass Communication Students Killed in Tragic Road Accident

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has expressed deep grief over the tragic road accident involving four National Diploma (ND II) students of the Department of Mass Communication who were travelling to Jos.

According to reports, two of the students, Gift Friday Shammah and Hope Monday Sariye, lost their lives in the unfortunate incident, while the remaining two sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.

The Union described the incident as a painful loss to the Department of Mass Communication and the entire Federal Polytechnic Bauchi community. It noted that the sudden passing of the students has left colleagues, friends, lecturers, and loved ones in mourning.

In a condolence message, the SUG extended its heartfelt sympathies to the families of the deceased, their classmates, and members of the Mass Communication Department. The Union also prayed for strength and comfort for everyone affected by the tragedy during this difficult period.

The students' body further wished the injured students a speedy and full recovery, expressing hope that they regain their health and strength soon.
