The President of the Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Comr. Haruna Umar, met with the Head of the Security Intelligence Unit to discuss security challenges faced by off-campus students in Gwalameji. Comr. The President of the Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Comr. Haruna Umar, recently met with the Head of the Security Intelligence Unit of the institution to discuss growing security concerns affecting the student community in Gwalameji, an area housing many off-campus students.

In his remarks, Comr. Haruna emphasized that the meeting was part of the ongoing efforts by the current SUG administration to find practical solutions to the security challenges faced by students, particularly those residing off-campus. He stated, "This government is still new, and we are now trying our best to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the safety of lives and properties of our students living off-campus."
