Federal University Dutse Appoints Professor Lawan Shu'aibu as Dean of Faculty of Education
The Federal University Dutse has announced the appointment of Professor Lawan Shu'aibu as the new Dean of the Faculty of Education.
Professor Shu'aibu, a renowned Professor of English Language, brings over 28 years of teaching and research experience to his new role. He has held various administrative and academic positions, including Head of Department of English and Linguistics, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance, and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Professor Shu'aibu has an impressive academic background, having obtained his B.Ed., M.A., and PhD degrees from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and the University of Ibadan. He has also served as a lecturer at Gaston Berger University in Senegal and has been a member of various professional associations, including the Linguistic Association of Nigeria and the Nigerian English Studies Association.
As a seasoned academic and administrator, Professor Shu'aibu is well-equipped to lead the Faculty of Education at Federal University Dutse.
