Federal University Dutsin-ma Students Protest Delay and Lack of Transparency in NELFUND Refunds

The students of Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State, have written an open letter to the management of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), expressing their concern and disappointment over the delay and lack of transparency in the refund process.

According to the students, despite the significant amount disbursed by NELFUND to the university, the management has failed to provide clear justification and transparency in the refund process. Many students, including graduated and returning students, have paid their registration fees and submitted their bank details, but the university management has not provided any clarification or justification for the delay.

As noted by the students, NELFUND has been commended for its transparency and accountability in managing student loans, and they believe that the same level of transparency should be applied in the refund process.

The students are seeking urgent attention to this matter and are calling for necessary steps to be taken to ensure that they receive their refunds without further delay .
