Federal University Gashua Announces Vacancy for Vice-Chancellor Position

The Governing Council of Federal University Gashua has announced a vacancy for the position of Vice-Chancellor, set to become effective on February 11, 2026. The university invites applications from qualified candidates with experience in university administration.

The ideal candidate should be a distinguished scholar of the rank of Professor with at least 10 years of experience, and a minimum of 15 years of uninterrupted service in teaching and research in public universities. They should also have a strong research background, with a Google Scholar h-index of at least 10 citations, and experience in securing and leading funded research.

The Vice-Chancellor will provide academic and administrative leadership, ensure high-level academic and moral discipline, and foster good relations with external agencies.
