Federal University of Education, Zaria Celebrates Retiring Staff, New Chief Lecturers, and PhD Graduates in Grand Valedictory Session

The Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ) recently hosted a heartfelt valedictory session, honoring retiring staff, newly appointed Chief Lecturers, and faculty members who achieved their doctoral degrees. The event, presided over by Acting Vice-Chancellor Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, was a momentous occasion celebrating dedication, academic excellence, and professional growth.
Dr. Balarabe commended the retirees for their unwavering contributions to the university’s academic development, emphasizing their invaluable role in shaping the institution’s legacy. “Your unwavering commitment forms the very foundation upon which this University thrives. We wish you abundant success in all your future adventures,” he remarked.
The honorees included distinguished scholars such as Dr. Indoko and Dr. Danbana Tete Bature from the Biology Department, Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Ayande of the Social Studies Department, and Dr. Y. S. Dantani and Dr. Ezugwu Gregory Godwen from Educational Psychology. Others recognized were Dr. Zakari Musa Ya’u from the Curriculum Department and Dr. Yahuza Salmanu from the English Language Department.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the retirees, Dr. Yahuza Salmanu reflected on the invaluable experiences and opportunities that defined his tenure at FUEZ.
