Federal University of Education, Zaria Commends Nigeria Education Loan Fund for Supporting Students

The Federal University of Education, Zaria has expressed its gratitude to the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for providing a loan grant of N51,503,621 to 1,173 students of the institution.

The loan, which was received on January 28, 2025, was used to pay the registration fees of the beneficiaries for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, commended NELFUND for its exceptional contribution and outstanding performance in supporting the students.

Dr. Balarabe noted that the loan grant has not only helped the students but also their parents, the school, and the community, especially during these challenging economic times.

The university acknowledged that the loan grant has helped to promote accountability, transparency, and documentation, as each beneficiary was issued a receipt.

The Federal University of Education, Zaria praised NELFUND's initiative, stating that it will have a long-term impact on reducing social unrest and vices among the youth.

The university prayed for God's guidance and foresight to continue NELFUND's good works.
