Federal University of Education Zaria Holds Graduation Ceremony for National Skills Development Program Participants
The Federal University of Education Zaria recently held a graduation ceremony for participants of the Skills Development Program, conducted under the National Skills Development Program in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
The Directorate of Skills Development and Linkages at the Federal University of Education Zaria recently organized a graduation ceremony and certificate presentation for participants of the just-concluded Skills Development Program. The program, conducted under the National Skills Development Program in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), aimed to equip participants with essential skills for the modern workforce.
In his speech, the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarebe, who was represented by the Ag. Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Haliru Musa, emphasized the importance of skill acquisition in today’s globalized world. He encouraged the graduates to explore and fully harness their potential, noting that such skills are vital for personal and professional growth. Dr. Musa further urged the participants to act as exemplary ambassadors of the university, showcasing their talents and achievements through their results, experiences, and exhibitions.
The participants expressed deep appreciation for the management and the Directorate for their unwavering commitment to the success of the program. They acknowledged the efforts made to ensure the smooth execution and effectiveness of the skills development initiative.
Dr. Amina Sani, the Director of the Directorate of Skills Development and Linkages, also took the opportunity to thank the University Management for its continued support, which enabled the Directorate to achieve its objectives. She extended her best wishes to the graduates, hoping that the skills gained through the program would aid them in their future endeavors.
The event marked a significant milestone in the University's ongoing commitment to fostering skills acquisition and capacity building in line with national development goals.
