The management of the University Of Abuja UNIABUJA has appointed Mrs. Florence Ajagbonna as the new acting bursar.
After five years as the bursar of our great University, Malam Rufai Ahmad Babba yesterday, bowed out.
At a modest handover ceremony, Tuesday, reflecting his unassuming mien, Babba passed the baton to Mrs Florence Ajagbonna, a Deputy Bursar, who will work in acting capacity until the appointment of a substantive bursar.
"He is a quiet, easy-going but extremely hardworking officer. And we will miss his good sense of humour, too," says one of Babba's staff.
We wish him good luck in his future engagements.
