FUAMB Nutrition and Dietetics Department Hosts Practical Fitness and Endurance Training for Students

In line with its commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience, the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), on Saturday, 20th June 2026, conducted a comprehensive Fitness and Endurance Training exercise for its students.

The practical session was organized to reinforce classroom instruction by providing students with hands-on exposure to physical fitness, endurance, and healthy lifestyle practices. As an integral component of the department’s academic programme, the exercise enabled students to apply concepts learned in the classroom to real-life situations.

The training featured a range of physical activities, including a fitness walk across the university campus, stretching exercises, and body-conditioning routines. The exercise was supervised by the course instructor, Mr. Yakubu Abubakar, who guided participants through various activities while emphasizing the importance of combining regular physical activity with balanced nutrition for optimal health.
