FULafia Declares Election Break, Shutdown Academic Activities Till March 2023
The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) announced the closure of the University, the institution declared Wednesday, February 22, to Sunday, March 19, 2023, for the 2023 Nigerian election beginning 25th February.

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) announced the closure of the University, the institution declared Wednesday, February 22, to Sunday, March 19, 2023, for the 2023 Nigerian election beginning 25th February,myschoolnews learned that FULafia Declares Election Break, Shutdown Academic Activities Till March 2023.
This is to inform the university community that, following the Ministerial directive on the shutdown of all Universities and Inter University Centres during the forthcoming 2023 general elections, the Management of Federal University of Lafia has declared Wednesday, February 22, to Sunday, March 19, 2023, as election break.
However, staff on essential duties are to be at their normal duty posts during the break.
Consequently, students are expected to go home as academic activities will be suspended during the break.
The University Community is to note that academic activities and work resume on Monday,March 20, 2023.
Management wishes the entire University Community peaceful election break.
