As the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) prepares for a change in leadership, the Departments of Microbiology and Agricultural Economics and Extension paid separate valedictory visits to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, to acknowledge his administrative impact.

The delegations lauded the Vice-Chancellor for fostering an "enabling environment" that significantly improved the visibility and research output of their respective departments over the last five years.

The Microbiology Department highlighted the tangible results of the administration’s focus on research and innovation. As a gesture of appreciation, they presented the Vice-Chancellor with a new textbook titled "Introduction to Microbiology." The publication was notably produced through a TETFund research grant facilitated under Professor Abdul Rahman’s leadership.
