The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) held a health programme on August 1, 2024, focusing on first aid for cardiac arrest patients. The event, led by Dr. Agunede S.A. from FULafia Cottage Hospital, was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, and other key university officials.

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) conducted a comprehensive health programme focused on providing first aid for cardiac arrest patients. The event, held at the Old Senate Chamber of the University, witnessed the participation of key university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, along with principal officers, deans, directors, and heads of departments.

Dr. Agunede S.A., the Medical Director of FULafia Cottage Hospital, led the programme, delivering insightful training and demonstrations on effective first aid techniques for cardiac arrest situations. The initiative aims to enhance the emergency response skills of the university community, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle cardiac emergencies.
