The newly inaugurated Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, on Friday joined the university’s Muslim community for Jumu‘ah prayers, marking a significant early engagement focused on spiritual inclusion and administrative transparency.

The service, held at the FUL Central Mosque, was attended by a large congregation of staff and students. The Chief Imam, Alhaji Danjuma Khalid, led special supplications for the Vice-Chancellor, seeking divine wisdom, resilience, and guidance for his leadership tenure.

Addressing the congregation following the prayers, Professor Ibileye expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve, characterizing his appointment as a "call to higher responsibility."
