The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has concluded its formal orientation programme for the 100-level students of the 2024/2025 academic session, providing a comprehensive roadmap for academic success and campus life.

The event, which took place yesterday, served as a strategic introduction for freshmen, covering essential topics such as academic expectations, institutional regulations, and the diverse resources available to facilitate their educational journey.

Character and Learning

Representing the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Rosemary Udeozor, underscored the institution’s dual focus on scholarship and character.

"Orientation is designed to help you understand the University’s traditions, rules, and your rights," Professor Udeozor stated. "The University is supportive, but misconduct will not be tolerated, as your success depends on both learning and character."

The programme featured a lineup of speakers from both the University management and national agencies, who collectively urged the students to:
