ADUSTECH SUG Announces Postponement of 2026 Freshers' Day Over Security Concerns

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, has officially announced the postponement of its highly anticipated 2026 Freshers' Day celebration.

In a formal notice issued today, February 10, 2026, the SUG President, Sen. Hassan Sunusi Kani, stated that the decision was necessitated by critical security intelligence and the need to ensure the safety of the entire university community.

The event, which was originally scheduled to take place in February 2026 at the University Convocation Arena, serves as a major social landmark for new students. However, following safety considerations, the Union leadership determined that a delay was the most responsible course of action.
