FUNAAB COLBIOS Honours Late Prof. Ademuyiwa with Posthumous 99th Inaugural Lecture Presentation
The College of Biosciences (COLBIOS) at FUNAAB posthumously honored the late Prof. Oladipo Ademuyiwa by presenting his 99th Inaugural Lecture booklet, "Toxicants and Man: The Enigma of Frenemy," on March 12, 2025.

The College of Biosciences (COLBIOS) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Prof. Oladipo Ademuyiwa, a renowned Biochemical Toxicologist, by presenting his 99th Inaugural Lecture booklet posthumously. The lecture, titled "Toxicants and Man: The Enigma of Frenemy," was formally unveiled today, March 12, 2025, at the COLBIOS Foyer in honour of the distinguished scholar.
Prof. Ademuyiwa was originally scheduled to deliver the lecture on this date before his untimely passing on February 16, 2025. He was laid to rest on February 28, 2025. Recognizing his vast scholarly contributions, FUNAAB, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, fulfilled its commitment to publish the Inaugural Lecture booklet as a mark of respect and academic recognition.
The solemn event underscored the University's unwavering dedication to preserving the intellectual legacies of its esteemed academics.
