FUNAAB Mourns the Passing of Director of Internal Audit, Mrs. Baiyewu

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is mourning the loss of its esteemed Director of Internal Audit, Mrs. Yewande Baiyewu, who passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Mrs. Baiyewu was a highly respected professional known for her dedication, integrity, and exceptional service to the university. She was appointed Director of Internal Audit in December 2023 and played a pivotal role in promoting financial accountability within the institution.

The university community is in grief, with tributes pouring in from colleagues, staff, and management, attesting to her selfless service and upright character. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, described her death as a painful loss, extending his condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones.
