FUNAAB: Prof. Jayeola Olabisi Reappointed as COLENDS Dean for Another Three-Year Term

Professor Jayeola Olabisi of the Department of Accounting has been reappointed as the Dean of the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies (COLENDS) of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

The reappointment was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, following the recommendation of the College Board of COLENDS.

According to the approval, Professor Olabisi’s new tenure will run for three years, effective from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029.

In the reappointment letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, the Vice-Chancellor stated that the decision was based on Professor Olabisi’s demonstrated capacity for purposeful academic leadership and his significant contributions to the growth and development of the University.

Professor Olabisi’s continued leadership at COLENDS is expected to further strengthen the College’s academic direction and support the University’s institutional development goals.
