FUNAAB SECOCER Honours Former Chairman, Secretary for Outstanding Service

The Senate Committee on the Consideration of Examination Results (SECOCER) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), held a send-forth ceremony in honor of its former Chairman, Prof. Olusegun Idowu, and Secretary, Mr. Adewale Ojoye, in recognition of their exemplary service to the University.

The ceremony acknowledged the duo's dedication to upholding the integrity and accuracy of the University's academic records. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, commended their contributions, noting that SECOCER's efficiency has garnered international recognition.

The current Chairman of SECOCER, Prof. Abdul-Lateef Shotuyo, praised Prof. Idowu's leadership in ensuring transparency and accountability within the Committee's operations. Other notable attendees included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, and the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Christian Ikeobi.

The honorees were commended for their selfless service and charged the present members to uphold the Committee's high standards. In their farewell remarks, Prof. Idowu and Mr. Ojoye expressed gratitude for the recognition and encouraged the Committee to continue fostering a culture of integrity, diligence, and continuous improvement.
