FUTA Reaffirms Support for Entrepreneurship, Skill Acquisition

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has reiterated its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and skill acquisition among students. During an exhibition on September 20, 2024.
Vice Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji emphasized the institution's role in producing skilled entrepreneurs through its compulsory course, Acquisition of Practical Skills in Entrepreneurship (ENT 302).
Professor Oladiji praised students' efforts and encouraged them to leverage social media for business growth. The Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship (CENT), Professor Oladunni Daramola, also highlighted the program’s focus on self-reliance and building future entrepreneurs.
The exhibition featured products ranging from farm produce to solar-powered appliances and fashion items.
