The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has reappointed Professor Taiwo Timothy Amos as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, for a period of two years effective May 6, 2025.

Professor Amos, of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, will oversee academic matters, including academic administration, curriculum development, examination, admissions, and other senate matters. He has extensive experience in academic leadership, having held various positions, including Head of Department and Dean of School.
