FUTMinna Ranked 8th Best University in Nigeria

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) has been ranked the 8th best university in Nigeria, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025.

The rankings, released earlier today, evaluated universities across five key areas of higher education excellence: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook.

FUTMinna's placement among Nigeria's top universities demonstrates its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) took the second spot in Nigeria, ranking 1001-1200 globally, with research quality as its highest-ranked pillar.
