The 2023/2024 graduating students of Godfrey Okoye University Secondary School have been hailed as one of the finest cohorts in recent years. The celebration took place during a Thanksgiving Holy Mass at the Justice Cordelia Chukwura Convocation Arena in Thinkers Corner, Enugu.

Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, Vice Chancellor of the university, delivered an inspiring homily that commended the graduates for their outstanding academic achievements and exemplary character. Despite the nationwide trend of poor results in the SSCE (Senior School Certificate Examination) and JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board), these students distinguished themselves as beacons of excellence.
Rev. Fr. Prof. Anieke extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and their families, acknowledging their relentless efforts and financial sacrifices. He also praised School Administrator Rev. Fr. Henry Amuju, the dedicated teachers, and all who contributed to shaping these young individuals into future leaders.
