Medical students from Godfrey Okoye University (GOU) have secured a significant victory in the first round of the Nigerian Medical Students' Association (NIMSA) South East Regional Quiz Competition 2024. Representing the Godfrey Okoye University Medical Students Association (GOUMSA), the team achieved an impressive score of 40 points during the preclinical phase, outpacing their competitors and advancing to the next round.

The victory marks a standout moment for GOUMSA, as they overcame formidable contenders from Imo State University and Abia State University, who were unfortunately eliminated from the competition.
